The Workshop on Renewable Energy Sources and Nanotechnology
Laboratory for Preparation and Computation of Nanomaterials - (LPCN)
Wren 2020
ABOUT: The Workshop on Renewable Energy Sources and Nanotechnology (WREN2020) will gather experts from the various fields of energy science and engineering, and provide a platform for discussing their social and global impacts. The workshop will cover pertinent topics ranging from latest trends in renewable energy to novel materials for energy harvesting, storage and conversion. All participants will be exposed to the latest advances in sustainable-energy technologies, such as fuel cells, photovoltaics, CO2 photoreduction and hydrogen production. All the themes will be inline with the current research activities at the Laboratory for Preparation and Computation of Nanomaterials (www.lpcn.ufpa.br), Federal University of Pará, Brazil.
This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everything will be done virtually in the form of a videoconference. We choose to present some seminars on spaced days to have more versatility and facility for those watching, usually on Tuesdays and Fridays starting day from November 3rd 2020 until the last presentation. Also, please, encourage, invite and advertise your students to participate of the seminars and send abstracts to be evaluated. Certificates will only be sent to people registered and/or who have approved abstracts at this meeting. Unfortunately, this year it will not be possible have poster presentations to the public due to avoid agglomeration. Stay home!
